History: Toby was born to Daniel and Marion Cavanaugh on March 19th, 1994. Growing up, Toby was a shy kid, he often stuck out of the crowd. Though he did like unique rock as well as antiques, but as he reached 15, he developed a crush on Alison DiLaurentis, one of the most popular girls in town. Though around the same time, his mother became ill and was soon emitted into Radley. Following that, it was said that his mother committed suicide leaving him with his father. That's what Toby believed, at least for the time being.

It wasn't long before his father found another woman, and re-married, giving him a step sister though this was no ordinary sibling. She forced him to have intercourse with her, and if he didn't she was gonna tell her parents he forced himself onto her. During the same time, Alison and her friends had accused Toby of peaking on them while changing and threw a stink bomb into the garage, but Jenna his sister was in there and ended up getting blinded.

Alison then confronted Toby and forced him to take ownership of the crime and lie about what really happened or else she would tell everyone about him and Jenna. So he took the fall and was sent away to a jail faculty. Then on September 1st, he was free from the faculty as well as Jenna, but it was the same day that Alison went missing. After that, he helped his sister around due to her disability and the kept the secret about what really happened that night with the stink bomb.

Toby then tried to go back to school, but due to the continuous bullying and the incident with Emily, he decided to home school instead and even do some work so he could get money to move out. But since then he got into a relationship with Spencer Hastings, joined and left the 'A' Team to protect her, as well as grow a friendship with Emily and a somewhat decent connection with the others and even team up with Caleb to track down A. Information about his mother and her so called 'suicide' has risen and even though he's attempt to track it, he decided to stop, seeing that it wouldn't bring his mother back. He's even went to the UK for reasons, as well as New York to get information on 'A'. As of now he's back in Rosewood, ready to stop 'A' once and for all. 


RP Example: It was late afternoon as Toby's truck pulled it in front of the Hasting House. Pulling off his dirty work clothes, Toby cracked his knuckles and stretched out as his arms, seeing that this was his first break of the day. And probably his only break. Groaning quietly, Toby pushed the door open, stretching his legs and he stepped out-just then a flash of black appeared in the corner of his eye. Toby spun around, closing the car door and stepping first. "Hello? Spencer?" No response. 

Toby was ready to shake it off when he heard another branch snap, it came from behind the house, and more importantly, near Spencer's window. Toby ran towards the door, seeing the black figure now running across the field. Toby ran after home, fast as he can, but they disappeared into the thick woods residing next to the house. Toby took deep breaths, his eyes narrowing as he stared at mess of trees in which possibly A disappeared. Maybe he could find shoe prints or-"Toby?" It was Spencer. Toby sighed once more, before turning to look back at the girl. "Are you coming in?" She murmured tiredly, rubbing her eyes with a small pout. She was cute when she was tired. She was always cute.

"Yeah, of course." Spencer smiled, holding her arms open as Toby walked forward, pecking her on the lips as he looked back at the woods one last time before closing the sliding door and looking back down at Spencer with a small smile. "Mind me using the shower?" Spencer chuckled, nodding as she headed up the stairs, Toby now following.
